Miguel Poiares Maduro es un académico y político portugués. Fue Ministro de Desarrollo Regional de Portugal desde abril de 2013 hasta octubre de 2015. Anteriormente, fue Director del Programa de Gobernanza Global y profesor de Derecho en el Instituto Universitario Europeo en Florencia, Italia. Poiares Maduro también fue profesor invitado en la Facultad de Derecho de la Universidad de Yale, en los Estados Unidos de América.

Miguel Poiares Maduro is a Portuguese scholar and politician. He was Portugal's Minister for Regional Development from April 2013 until October 2015. Previously, he had been the Director of the Global Governance Program and professor of Law at the European University Institute in Florence, Italy. Poiares Maduro is also a regular Visiting Professor at the Yale Law School, in the United States.
