Luísa Schmidt es socióloga, periodista, profesora e investigadora del Instituto de Ciencias Sociales de la Universidad de Lisboa. Luísa Schmidt forma parte del equipo que introdujo la Sociología del Medio Ambiente en Portugal, tanto en la investigación, en la docencia, como en la articulación entre academia y sociedad.

Luísa Schmidt is a sociologist, journalist, professor, and principal researcher at the Institute of Social Sciences of the University of Lisbon. She is part of the team that introduced Environmental Sociology in Portugal, in research, teaching and in the articulation between academia and society.
