Elvira Fortunato is a Portuguese scientist, researcher and professor. She is a world pioneer specialist in paper electronics, namely transistors, memories, batteries, screens, antennas and solar cells. She is considered the "mother" of the paper transistor. She is currently vice-rector of NOVA University Lisbon.
